Our Heating Specialist will visit your home and survey your home heating system and wall insulation. The surveyor will confirm which items can be covered by a free energy efficiency grant.

Our fully accredited installers will attend your property and install your new storage heaters, insulation or central heating.

Where is the funding coming from?

The funding comes from all the big six major energy companies who have a Government obligation to reduce their carbon emissions throughout the UK. You do not need to repay this back.

Qualifying benefits

To qualify for funding, someone living in the property needs to be in receipt of at least one of the benefits listed below:

  • Income based Jobseekers Allowance (JSA)
  • Income related Employment and Support Allowance (ESA)
  • Income Support (IS)
  • Pension Credit Guarantee Credit (PCGC)
  • Working Tax Credit (WTC)
  • Child Tax Credit (CTC)
  • Universal Credit (UC)
  • Housing Benefit
  • Pension Credit Savings Credit (PCSC)
  • Child Benefit, (within the income caps, see Chapter 5 of the ECO4 Guidance: Delivery)

FREE AIR SOURCE HEAT PUMPS

If you have existing electric storage heaters then you may qualify for a Government backed grant to replace them with a brand new Air Source Heat Pump completely free or substantially discounted.

Solar panels

FREE SOLAR PANELS

The ECO4 energy efficiency scheme aims to help low-income households in raising their homes' energy efficiency - any grant payments awarded are non-repayable. Grant recipients who qualify will receive money for solar PV system installation in their homes.

Loft insulation

FREE LOFT INSULATION

Your home could qualify for a Loft Insulation grant to cover the full cost of having insulation installed by an accredited installer. If you are in receipt of a qualifying benefit, you should be eligible for a a loft insulation grant.

Storage heater

FREE ELECTRIC STORAGE HEATERS

To qualify for a free storage heater grant you must own your own home (or privately rent) and have existing electric heating and be in receipt of a qualifying benefit. Free Storage heater grants are available to fund the cost of replacing inefficient or faulty electric storage heaters.

Central heating

FIRST TIME CENTRAL HEATING GRANTS

First Time Central Heating grants are available to fund the installation of either mains gas central heating (gas boiler) and radiators OR an air source heat pump and radiators to a property not currently on the mains gas network. If your home does not currently have central heating and is heated by another method (electric / oil / fire) , then you may qualify for a First Time Central Heating Grant to pay for the installation of central heating in the property.

Attic conversion

FREE ROOM IN ROOF INSULATION

Your home could qualify for a Room In Roof Insulation grant to cover the full cost of having insulation installed by an accredited installer. If you are in receipt of a qualifying benefit, you should be eligible for a loft insulation grant. Grants are not available to council / social housing. We do not process grants for properties with gas boilers.

Wall cavity

FREE CAVITY WALL INSULATION

Cavity Wall Insulation is one of the best ways to reduce your heating bills. If you are in receipt of qualifying benefit, free grants are available to cover the cost of installing cavity wall insulation in your property. If your home is privately owned or rented and is occupied when the survey is conducted then you are entitled to this government backed grant.

Underfloor insulation

FREE UNDER FLOOR INSULATION

Underfloor Insulation is one of the best ways to reduce your heating bills. If you are in receipt of qualifying benefit, free grants are available to cover the cost of installing Underfloor Insulation in your property. If your home is privately owned or rented and is occupied when the survey is conducted then you are entitled to this government backed grant.

Boiler replacement

FREE BOILER REPLACEMENT
